A Clockwork Orange Customs - Bash Projects(Bas Petter)

The last edition & the biggest, in a rather large order from Bash Projects. This was a long-term purchase(for lack of a better phrase), but it's totally been worth the wait!
Amongst the many toys contained in this recent package, I present a Bash Projects customisation of the epic 'William & Henry' by Frank Kozik.

My first A Clockwork Orange additions of the year! Also my largest ACO customs to date! I knew they were big, but honestly, holding them in my hands makes me wonder where on earth I'm going to put these! Some serious reorganisation lays ahead of me!

I really love all the little details on these. The rhinos tiny hat, the blood splatter on it's horn, but it's the unique take on the eyelashes that really grips my attention on this piece!

I think this is my first custom with a little droog-minion, also my first custom with a mask! Honestly, one can't go wrong with an elephant & an elephant in a mask, that's just too darn cute! I also think his little shorts/cod-piece combo are ridiculously adorable!

It's nice to have such a sizeable addition to my collection. I'm looking forward to creating space to display these two(& the rest of this mammoth lot of toys!).

You can read about the other toys from this lot(& more about the lengthy process of acquiring them) on my other blog Stuff & Things

I'm unsure if Bas still makes custom toys, but if you're interested you can inquire with him on facebook.

Custom Dunny - Jon-Paul Kaiser

A few weeks ago The Toy Chronicle held a guessing contest for when they'd hit 2 million page views on their amazing blog. They hit that goal on the 23rd of July & I had the winning guess!

The prize was an unknown. I spent the last couple of weeks wondering what it might be. What I received went beyond all my expectations! I actually did a giddy little happy dance when it arrived at my door this morning! Quite possibly the greatest surprise of my life to date!

Hand-painted by the super talented Jon-Paul Kaiser & one of a kind! The little accessory 'The Rocking Machine' is an original sculpt & hand-painted as well! The details are perfect. Adding a Jon-Paul Kaiser custom to my collection was the last thing I expected to be doing today!

This is my forth A Clockwork Orange customisation(and only my second Dunny!). The incredible level of detail in this design is mind blowing & it's simply beautiful! I've been in awe of Jon-Paul Kaisers work for a few years now, I feel truly privileged to have this in my collection!

My photography really doesn't do this amazing piece justice(as per usual)! The fine detail is almost intimidating & a photo just isn't enough to really show it off. To get all self-righteous for a moment, basically none of you will ever known the awesomeness of this new addition to my cabinet :P

I just want to say another huge thank you to Gary & Andy over at The Toy Chronicle, you guys are amazing, I don't have the words to express how thankful I am! And Jon-Paul Kaiser your work stuns me & I'm so grateful to have your art within my collection! I really appreciate the thought that went into this amazing prize. I still can't quite believe I actually won this!

Droogimus Prime & Stuff - Cult Mini-Figures

My good friend Steve Moffatt of Cult Mini-Figures, was kind enough to make a couple of VERY awesome custom toys for me recently! First, he share this WIP photo in my Resin Toy Obsession group on facebook.

As expected, I got rather excited when I saw this! The idea of a transformer droog(or droogy in disguise?) greatly amuses me! Steve had made it for me, on a whim(or a great need to use up his horde of supplies :P)! Was so happy when it arrived yesterday!

You may notice the other toy in the photo(i've dubbed it 'Fluff Critter'), which you can read about in more detail here: Fluff Critter & Stuff - Cult Mini-Figures

Having no real name, I'd decided to call this new figure 'Droogimus Prime'. It's a great addition to my collection of custom ACO toys, which I really do need to add to more often! I couldn't be more grateful for this hilarious culture-clash!

My photography skills really don't do justice to the details on Droogimus, but you can find more of Steves work(& his own photography) on facebook & Instagram

FiT / Viniloeater - Custom Alex Dunny

Thanks to Facebook & my wonderful friends on there, I recently became aware of Viniloeaters custom toys. His work is beautiful & the day I learned of his work, I happened to find that he had just recently created a A Clockwork Orange custom.

I had to acquire it! Thankfully, much like most of the artists I've dealt with, Viniloeater is a wonderful person, very helpful & Alex is now mine.
He is my last ACO item of 2013(I received him about a week ago, but thanks to the holidays, I have been neglecting my blogs) & he is an absolutely stunning one. I'm simply in awe over the skill & beauty of Viniloeaters work, much more stunning then I could capture in a photo.

Hopefully this is the first of many more custom items in the future. I'm not one to request customs, I'd rather wait for the inspiration to hit an artist. My custom ACO toy acquisitions may be few & far between, but they're sure to be unique to the artists who create them. I am, however, extremely satisfied with my first ACO custom, it should tide me over for quite some time!

A Clockwork Golly

I've been an avid badge collector for years, though my acquisitions of new ones is rare these days. I stumbled across one on eBay during one of my many browsing sessions, that I simply couldn't resist.
My mother use to occasionally acquire herself a golly badge from Robertsons & I always thought they were quite adorable. The moment I saw this one, I just had to own it.

The badge is a custom design by Sticky Wotsits on eBay(a tribute to the golly badges available in the past). It's a beautifully executed design. These photos don't do the details justice.

I only own a handful of enamel badges, a majority of them are on my custom ACO jacket. All of my ACO enamel badges are from eBay(there's a couple of others I hope to gain in the future). The boots badge was just a spontaneous addition & not specifically ACO inspired, though I think it's a nice touch on my jacket.
The jacket was designed by me & I had it sew by a seller on etsy(suspect999, tragically her store no longer exists). It's one of my few 'unique' items & something I'm quite proud of.

These of course, are not the only ACO clothing/accessories I own, but definitely some of my favourites.

As always, I apologise for the delay with a new post. Just seems I'm a bit distracted lately.
